Job Title Site Coordinator/Case Manager
Pay Range $18,500-$25,000 as funding allows
Reports To Program Coordinator
Location GISD/TCISD School Sites

 Job Summary:

 Responsible for the day to day operation of the school site program, and to work closely with school staff, community agencies, parents/families, and the students, to ensure coordination of community services for the benefit of the students and their families.

  •  Attend the Interdisciplinary meetings called by the campus
  • Plan, implement, and participate in the evaluation of the operations at the school site
  • Function as a quality control manager
  • Provide desired feedback to school and agency personnel.
  • Provide data to CIS program office for report compilation, monthly stats
  • With the assistance of the Program Coordinator provide:

                       Services of participating health and human services

                       Involvement of volunteers

                       Involvement of guest speakers

  • Attend all staff meetings called by the Executive Director
  • Must join forces with school personnel in order to integrate social and educational services.
  • Communicate regularly with school’s administration
  • Network with school staff to create and maintain positive image for CIS
  • Supervise attendance, behavior and academic progress of all students in CIS and establish a regular reporting mechanism
  • Ensure that all paperwork is current, complete and turned in at designated time for each campus
  • Manage student assessments
  • Assist with selection of students
  • Plan and implement special events for CIS students
  • Coordinate CIS contact with parents or guardians
  • Counsel and work with parents or guardians
  • Provide individual/group counseling and case management for identified students
  • Make home visits to all assigned students in need
  • Coordinate planning, implementation and evaluation of field trips
  • Perform other duties as may be necessary to the successful operation of CIS

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred in public administration, education, social work, the social sciences)
  • Two (2) years’ experience in a related field.
  • Bilingual preferred for some campuses
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passionate desire to work with youth in at risk situations.
  • Ability to get along well with others and be a team player.
  • Versatile and flexible.
